Virtual LockBox wins for best idea and best pitch
June 15, 2009
(Vancouver, BC) - Sanjay Maharaj, President of Virtual LockBoxTM, announced the launch of Virtual LockBox to the deafening cheers of 600 of Vancouver's tech and social media crowd at last week's Ideas on Tap event. Along with four other companies, Maharaj had just 60 seconds to convince attendees that his company was the most innovative and worthy of the top prize of Best Pitch. After all pitches were presented, the crowd voted Virtual LockBox as their favourite company for the evening.
For Maharaj, "Winning the best idea at Ideas on tap reinforces our belief in what we have always believed in - that we have created a unique platform which allows people to use by sharing things in private and forever with the people most important in their lives" Virtual LockBox, a safe and secure online storage system allows users to send video, photos and letters to loved ones far into the future, had been in development for two years.
The initial response to Virtual LockBox has been overwhelming and incredibly positive. "People are excited about Virtual LockBox and the value it provides to them in terms of being able to say something today and send it into the future," adds Maharaj.
Virtual LockBox's messaging capability is an evolution of date driven technology and time release coding. The company has filed for provisional patent for its innovative application.
Virtual LockBox is safe, reliable, secure and free to use
